Social Media
Social Media is how we communicate with others online. We use it to see whats going on in other peoples lives for example: old friends or celebrities for example. Social Media is also used to tell people when certain events are on or an album is on sale.
Some popular social media sites/apps are; Youtube, Facebook,Twitter & Google+.
Like most things on the internet, social media has its pros and cons:
Some pros of using social media:
-You can connect with people all around the world
-You can meet new people or talk to old friends you haven't seen in a while
-You can notify people about events such as: concerts or livestreams
Some cons of using social media:
-Cyberbulling
-Catfishing
-People can be anonymous and post whatever they want/say whatever they want
As a great man once said, with great power comes great responsibility! So be careful on social media sites, you don't know who or what is watching you.
Some tips for staying safe on social media:
-Don't give out personal information
-If you're meeting anyone on the internet in real life, skype them or ask them for some proof of identity!
-Don't post any obscene content
-Don't start any internet drama/rumors
-Report/Block any 'odd' characters you met online
Etc.

Reviewing Five Nights At Freddy's
As I have mentioned in a previous blog post, one of my favourite games is Five Nights At Freddy's. In this post I will be reviewing the game!
Five Night's At Freddy's is an Indie Horror game that was first released on the 8th of August 2014 on Desura. The goal for the game is to survive the night (12am-6am) without being killed by the animatronics.
The animatronics in the game are:
Freddy Fazbear - a brown bear animatronic who wears a black hat and bow tie.
Bonnie the Bunny- A lavender coloured bunny with a red bow tie who holds a guitar on stage.
Chica the chicken- a bright yellow coloured chicken who wears a bib that says "Let's Eat!!!"
Foxy the pirate- a crimson coloured fox that has sharp teeth and a hook for a hand.
Golden Freddy- a gold coloured bear suit that appears in the office at a certain point in the game.
In the game, on nights one to four the previous security guard has left you messages that tell us about events such as 'The Bite Of 87' which is about one of the animatronics (Foxy is suspected to have done so because of his sharp teeth, his disrepaired endoskeleton and that he hides behind a curtain) bit one of the customers.The alleged attack saw the loss of the victim's frontal lobe. However on the fourth night he explains that he might not be able to leave a message the next night and then you can
hear a demonic voice which was one of the animatronics stuffing him into a suit.
After 'The Bite of 87' the restaurants reputation was ruined however there was another incident, where five children went missing at the restaurant, the police speculated that someone dressed as one of the mascots lured them into the restaurant and killed them however their bodies were never found. In the game there is a poster that tells this story that you can see through all seven nights.
There is an extra two nights in the game, the sixth night is just an extra night were you earn and extra fifty cents and the seventh night is a custom night where you can change the level from 0-20. By entering 1987 in custom mode Golden Freddy appears and crashes the name and if you play 20/20/20/20 it was said to be impossible however some people have completed the level and at the end they received a notice of termination.
If you run out of power/get killed by one of the animatronics they will scream at you in an altered children's scream and then this screen will appear:
Foxy is the only animatronic who can run and instantly kill you unless you shut the door on time. The most active animatronic however seems to be Bonnie, the least active is Freddy.
When I played the game I really enjoyed it and I was really intrigued by 'The Bite of 87' and the story behind the game itself. Even though there isn't much to do in the game but check cameras/turn on/off lights and close doors its still a good game! and like most fans of this game I'm looking forward to the sequel in 2015.

Why I joined the Future Creators:
I
joined future creators because I have a huge interest in technology and
I would like to learn about animation, coding and advancing
my technological skills.
I
have used computers since I was younger and I have always been
interested in ways that I could create things of my own such as apps or
games etc. Technology has been a big part of my life and in the future I hope that I can create something I'm proud of that will possibly lead to a future career?! I hope by joining the future creators I can obtain some helpful skills and have fun with something I'm passionate about.
